These Barney Kessel Customs were produced in very small numbers as this is one of only 57 made in This is the first Factory Varitione SG Standard we have seen in person and only the second one we have ever heard of.

There is a wear spot on the side of the neck from where the original owner liked to store his accessories next to the neck and a few small finish blemishes on the back of the body from being stored with a guitar strap. A one owner guitar that was very well taken care of displaying only light play wear.
One ding on the back binding that we have highlighted in the photos. An all original guitar that never even had a second strap button installed. Our Luthier replaced this faulty wiring with a correct style.
Overall a very well preserved example. Previous owner removed the pickguard for easier Tremolo action.
